Training camps across the NFL are in full swing, and emotions are starting to run high.
The other day, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott got into it with cornerback Trevon Diggs during a scrimmage, and the two exchanged words.
Prescott seemed to downplay the trash talk between himself and his teammate, according to reporter Jori Epstein.
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is far less concerned about Trevon Diggs trash talk than the internet is. Healthy competition.
“I might honestly talk the most,” Dak tells us. “I start a lot of it. … I open the door and make people feel comfortable.” pic.twitter.com/8gpypRThBG

Diggs has already become one of the NFL’s best defensive backs in his three pro seasons, and this season, he will have some major help on the other side of the secondary.
The Cowboys traded for Stephon Gilmore, another standout corner who has made five Pro Bowls and was voted the Defensive Player of the Year in 2019.
Gilmore also owns a Super Bowl championship ring, which he earned as a member of the New England Patriots in the 2018 season, and it is something that can carry its weight in gold for a Cowboys team that is looking to earn one itself.
Dallas hasn’t won a world championship since the 1995 season, and since then, they haven’t even gotten as far as the NFC Championship Game.
But they do have a very talented roster this season, which includes wide receiver Brandin Cooks, whom they traded for this offseason to take some pressure off CeeDee Lamb.
But in the end, Prescott will have to raise his game if the Cowboys are to achieve their ultimate goal.
He has a history of not playing well in big games, and in last season’s Divisional round playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers, he threw two interceptions and just one touchdown pass.
