The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are slated to look very different during the 2023 season.
They’ll be without Tom Brady, who brought a winning mindset to the organization, bringing them a Lombardi Trophy.
It’ll be up to some combination of Kyle Trask and Baker Mayfield to take over as the starter.
At this point, the team hasn’t named a starting quarterback, but Mayfield is slated to start their first preseason game.
Despite the unknowns at quarterback, the Buccaneers will likely continue to rely on the duo of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin in the receiving game.
As this video from the NFL highlights, Godwin and Evans have each posted at least 1,000 yards in the past two seasons.
Not many guys more consistent than this @Buccaneers duo.

During the 2022 NFL season, there were 22 players across the league with at least 1,000 receiving yards.
Two of those receivers were Godwin and Evans.
Besides the unknown at quarterback, one potential roadblock for Godwin and Evans is health.
Both have missed time due to injuries in the past few years, and they could still have lingering issues.
If either player misses a game or two, their standing as 1,000-yard receivers could soon be in jeopardy.
Buccaneers fans will soon see how this team responds to a new leader at the quarterback position.
Moving on from a future Hall of Famer is surely difficult, and could provide some early growing pains.
For Evans and Godwin, the good news is that they are both seasoned veterans and have experienced spotty QB play in the past.
Can they both reach 1,000 yards again this year?
