Stephen Curry is the greatest player in Golden State Warriors history, and that’s not even close.
He’s one of the most influential players of all time, an elite scorer, and the single-greatest shooter to ever grace the face of the Earth.
What he’s never been, however, is a lockdown defender.
That’s why it wasn’t so surprising to see one of the young hoopers from his camp challenge him and be able to score a layup on him, making the crowd go absolutely crazy afterward.
The young man channeled his inner Kyrie Irving when he went for that layup.

Of course, it’s not like Steph was trying to play lockdown defense on the young man anyway, but he can still brag about it, and no one will be able to take that away from him for the rest of his life.
Curry has been spotted during a little bit of everything as of late.
From making an appearance at a Paramore concert to hitting the golf course and whatnot, No. 30 has stayed quite busy all summer since that heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the playoffs.
He’s probably making the most of the free time, as his vacations don’t usually last this long because he’s too busy making it to the NBA Finals.
Notably, Warriors fans will hope that’s going to be the case again next season, and they’ll continue to be contenders for as long as he’s healthy.
