When one thinks of the Boston Red Sox, the color red is naturally what comes to mind.

Rarely, if at all, do fans think of blue and yellow being associated with the Red Sox.

However, blue and yellow seem to have a positive effect on the team.

Back in 2021, the Red Sox introduced their Nike City Connect uniforms, which consist of blue hats and helmets and yellow jerseys with a blue and white trim.

On Monday, Boston wore these jerseys again and ended up winning a wild game against the Kansas City Royals in walk-off fashion.

Dating back to 2021, the Sox are 22-4 in these uniforms.

On Twitter, MLB on FOX tweeted some important information about the Red Sox’s success in their City Connect jerseys.

The Red Sox just seem to have good luck whenever they wear their yellow jerseys.

They have won 10 games in a row while wearing these uniforms.

This year, the Sox have played seven games in the City Connect threads and have won all of them.

For some reason, the Red Sox City Connect threads are the uniforms they seem to have the best luck in.

Better yet, on what would have been an inning-ending strikeout in the ninth to send the game into extra innings on Monday, a check-swing was not ruled as a swing.

Pablo Reyes then hit a walk-off grand slam to give Boston the win.

The Red Sox are doing their best to stay out of last place in the AL East, and they briefly climbed out of that hole on Monday night while donning their special uniforms.
