The New England Patriots finished the 2022 season with an 8-9 record.
This was the second time in the past three seasons that they missed the playoffs, something that the fanbase isn’t accustomed to.
They have worked tirelessly throughout the offseason to improve their roster to make it back to the postseason.
One of their most recent additions is Trey Flowers, as Ian Rapoport has reported.

Flowers was a massive part of the organization for many years but has been on a three-year hiatus with the Detroit Lions.
Now that he’s back, the Patriots have a veteran player on their defensive line, ready to contribute in a big way.
Flowers’ recent signing indicates that the Patriots are tired of losing.
He didn’t play at all during the 2022 season, as he was placed on injured reserve.
If Flowers is healthy, he will hopefully contribute similarly to his early years, where he routinely recorded at least seven sacks per season.
Will the Patriots get back to the former glory the organization was known for during the Tom Brady era?
The AFC East has changed a lot over the offseason, a division that was previously dominated by the Patriots.
Aaron Rodgers is now a New York Jet, hungry to take over an offense that has been starved of elite talent.
The Miami Dolphins are a young, emerging team, and the Buffalo Bills continue to grow under Josh Allen.
In an ever-difficult conference, the Patriots have an uphill battle if they want to find any postseason success.
