The Dallas Cowboys found a true superstar when they got Micah Parsons.

Lined up as a linebacker, outside, as a defensive end, or wherever Dan Quinn needed him, he immediately became one of the most dominant and impressive players in the league.

But not even his stellar play could prevent his team from falling to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional round last season.

Recently, in an interview with Ryan Clark, he claimed that the loss was like a little heart attack.

“It felt like a little heart attack.” Parsons said.

Parsons has embraced a leadership role despite being a youngster among plenty of veterans on that defense; it just comes naturally to him.

He’s as hard-working as they come, and the kind of vocal leader that will look to get under everyone’s skin to bring the best out of himself and his teammates.

Notably, the Cowboys had been craving a player like that for quite a while now.

Their defense has improved every single year, and having him develop and turn into a complete nightmare will obviously continue that trend for years to come.

Their offense, however, continues to be the biggest talking point, as QB Dak Prescott has left a lot to be desired, and his decision-making has hurt the team more often than not.

But if Parsons keeps taking leaps forward and they keep focusing on strengthening that defense, they might be able to get over the hump once and for all.
