The Cincinnati Bengals found the most important thing any NFL team needs to turn things around: an elite quarterback.

Joe Burrow arriving in Ohio was the best thing that could ever happen to the franchise, and it didn’t take long before he proved why he was one of the most hyped prospects this beautiful game had ever seen.

Burrow has established himself as an elite passer already, and most analysts and players consider him to be a close second to Patrick Mahomes.

That’s why former NFL player Louis Riddick took offense to the fact that the NFL’s Top 100 list didn’t have him as the second or third-best player in the league, having him fall all the way to No. 6 instead.

Notably, Burrow isn’t even the second-best quarterback in the ranking, as that distinction belongs to Philadelphia Eagles star Jalen Hurts.

No disrespect to Hurts whatsoever, as he was just three points away from taking down Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, but even he may not be on Burrow’s level as of now.

To each his own, and there has never been more talent at the quarterback position than there is nowadays, but it’s almost impossible not to make a case for Burrow being 1B to Mahomes’ 1A.
