The Miami Dolphins suffered a devasting blow to their secondary during the early stages of training camp.
Jalen Ramsey tore his meniscus and is slated to miss the majority of the 2023 regular season.
After this injury, Dr. David Chao appeared on the ‘I Am Athlete’ podcast, indicating that it’ll be difficult for Ramsey to return to form.
In response to this video, Ramsey shared, “Y’all have no clue what’s even going on, just talking to hear y’all selves talk.”

Chao indicated that Ramsey might return to play in 2023, but his abilities might be limited.
Ramsey called out Chao’s comments, especially considering he is not on the Dolphins’ medical staff.
In his response, Ramsey also discussed X/Twitter doctors, and how they tend to spew information without knowing the facts.
Many doctors have gotten famous for talking about player injuries, especially in the fantasy football community.
Ramsey isn’t the first player to talk about the harm that these doctors have done, as it seems to tarnish player reputations.
In the instance of Ramsey, he seems to believe that Chao doesn’t know the whole story.
Ultimately, Ramsey is the only person who truly knows how bad his injury is.
He knows the limitations of his body and will return to the gridiron when he feels up for it, and when he is cleared by team personnel.
The Dolphins’ secondary is now highly questionable, as Ramsey was brought in as an elite veteran at the position.
Can he return to pre-injury numbers, performing as one of the best DBs in the league?
