Expectations are at an all-time high with Aaron Rodgers taking his talents to the New York Jets.

The legendary quarterback, however, could be in for a tough awakening, according to Colin Cowherd.

Cowherd took a glimpse of the Jets’ scrimmage vs. the Carolina Panthers, and he didn’t exactly love what he saw.

He claims that the offensive line is a Duane Brown injury away from being a mess at left tackle, stating that this will be the first time in Rodgers’ career that he’ll play behind a “duct-taped offensive line.”

“Aaron lived the real Jets QB life yesterday… This franchise is a Duane Brown injury at left tackle from being a mess.”

The sports pundit also pointed out the fact that none of Rodgers’ offensive lines during his many years with the Green Bay Packers were below average, and several of them even cracked the top 10.

As for the Jets, they enter the season with the No. 23 offensive line, according to PFF’s rankings.

The Jets struggled in the two-minute offense vs. the Panthers, going three-and-out, and there were reports of some frustration from Rodgers and the starters.

Cowherd claims Rodgers isn’t used to this kind of stuff, so there could be trouble in paradise sooner rather than later.

Notably, the Jets have an almost perfect roster, but that Achilles heel could be a nightmare for their future Hall-of-Fame quarterback.

He will still be a massive improvement over every single player who started under center last season, especially Zach Wilson, but even one of the single-greatest passers in the history of the game needs some time and space to operate.
