The Washington Commanders are one team that should have no problem being coached hard.

After consistently underachieving, this team has not had a winning record since the 2016 season.

Not to mention they have not won double-digit games since 2012.

So when the Commanders brought in former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy this offseason it seemed like a great move.

Bieniemy has led the best offense in the NFL for the past five seasons.

Also, he learned under one of the greatest coaches in NFL history during that tenure with Andy Reid.

Yet, it seems like the Commanders players are not thrilled with Bieniemy’s coaching style.

Reports have surfaced that players are going to head coach Ron Rivera and telling him that Bieniemy is coaching them too hard.

These comments made former NFL player Damien Woody disgusted.

Woody went on the “Pat McAfee Show” to discuss this story.

“Eric Bieniemy is coming into Washington and trying to change the culture..

He’s been to five straight AFC Championship games and won two Super Bowls”@damienwoody #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/FDFUEiJO4a

Woody did not mince words when discussing the Commanders’ players.

Bieniemy might be one of the best offensive coaches in Washington in a long time.

These players should feel lucky he left Kansas City to join them.

It was clear that the previous coaches were not getting the job done in Washington.

So Bieniemy is doing his best to change the culture.

But, if the players are not going to buy in then none of it will matter.

It will be intriguing to see how this team looks during the upcoming season.

We will be able to tell early on if their offense has bought into Bieniemy or not.
