With the 2023 NFL season just around the corner, analysts and fans are wasting no time in getting their predictions and picks together for the upcoming campaign.
The NFL is a quarterback’s league, and most people center the narrative around what the guys under center might or might not be able to do and how that could translate to team success.
Notably, that means the clock is ticking on some of these players to deliver once and for all, which is why NFL analyst Emmanuel Acho put together his list of the top-five quarterbacks who must win now.

At No. 5, he chose Kirk Cousins, citing that even the Minnesota Vikings’ owner was non-committal about his future with the team, and stating that he’s made a lot of money throughout his career despite no success to show for it.
Then, he talked about Lamar Jackson, who became the highest-paid player in the league when he signed his new contract, and who just got a new Offensive Coordinator and an elite set of talents in the offense.
At No. 3, Acho chose Justin Herbert, as everybody keeps talking about how good he is, but he’s failed to win when it matters the most, not to mention the fact that he just got Kellen Moore and a new first-round wide receiver to help him next season.
Then, he chose Justin Fields, citing that the Chicago Bears traded away the No. 1 pick because they trust him, so he obviously must deliver.
And finally, Acho chose Russell Wilson, as the Denver Broncos had to give up a lot to get him and now even got him Sean Payton as Head Coach.
