The Miami Heat’s ‘Heatles’ had so many iconic moments, games, and plays.

But one that has always stood on its own is that iconic LeBron James dunk in which Dwyane Wade opens up his arms, perhaps one of the coldest photos in NBA history.

Recently, Wade looked back on his career and some of his best moments, talking to NBA TV before his induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Wade claimed that he never saw the play, adding that he just heard LeBron coming right at him on the fast-break, so he just wanted to make sure he caught the ball in rhythm, which is why he threw him a bounce pass and not a regular alley-oop.

Moreover, he then taunted home fans by opening up his arms because he was mad at the fact that they booed him, even though he had his jersey hanging in the rafters after his great stint with Marquette.

Wade wasn’t the most hyped prospect coming out of high school, but he quickly rose to stardom when he took his talents to Milwaukee to play at Marquette, so it was only natural to think that the home fans at Bradley Center would have some love for him.

Then again, that Miami Heat squad was the team everybody loved to hate at the moment, as they were just too overpowered and dominant.

Fortunately for Wade, that gesture ended up giving him one of the signature moments in his and LeBron James’ career, an unforgettable and impossible-to-repeat moment.
