Not many NBA players get the privilege of retiring as a part of the league.

Most of the time, lesser guys have to take their talents overseas to continue playing until they decide to walk away from the game.

Sometimes, even former superstars have no choice but to swallow their pride and play in less competitive leagues when no one in the NBA seems to be interested in their services anymore, and that was the case with Dwight Howard.

The former Defensive Player of the Year had a good time playing in Taiwan, which is why he’s hilariously tried to recruit multiple stars after they failed to perform to the expectations.

That’s why he didn’t hesitate to reach out to his former teammate, James Harden, who recently went viral for calling out Philadelphia 76ers executive Daryl Morey during his trip to China.

“James [Harden] stay right there it’s a shorter flight to Taiwan.”

As shown by ClutchPoints, the former NBA champion hilariously urges Harden to stay there, as it’s a closer flight to Taiwan.

Truth be told, Harden still has plenty left in the tank, so maybe he should wait a few more years before making such a major career decision.

But at this point, it doesn’t seem like many teams will be interested in offering him a contract, at least not for the kind of money he’s currently looking to get.

He already knows what it’s like to play side by side with Howard, so who knows?

If Morey and the Sixers don’t trade him, perhaps he could pursue a different path.
