The Kansas City Chiefs may have dodged a major bullet.
Three of their wide receivers, including second-year potential star Justyn Ross, recently had to leave practice early with multiple injuries.
However, a report by Ari Meirov states that Ross’ injury was nothing serious, and he was even spotted back on the field Wednesday, albeit wearing a sleeve on his left leg, according to SI.

The 23-year-old has sky-high potential but has had many issues staying healthy throughout the course of his brief career, even suffering a spinal cord injury during his days at Clemson.
Despite his evident talents, Ross went undrafted and spent all of last season rehabbing and getting up to speed to finally make his NFL debut this season, and he has drawn plenty of positive reviews and reports throughout the course of the training camp.
He had two receptions on five targets in the Chiefs’ preseason opener vs. the New Orleans Saints, logging 29 yards and a touchdown and leaving defenders in the dust with elite route-running skills.
The Chiefs will obviously be quite cautious with him going forward, given his history, but there’s no denying that the skills and talents are right there.
Hopefully, he’ll be able to stay on the field, and he could end up being the ultimate low-risk/high-reward pickup in Kansas City.
