Many around the NFL regard Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid as the best head coach-quarterback duo.
The Kansas City Chiefs have made it to five-straight AFC Championships, appearing in the Super Bowl three times in that span.
While they may be at the top of the list, LeSean McCoy recently gave his take for the number two spot.
“I’m going to go Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts,” McCoy said of the Philadelphia Eagles pair.

McCoy was a member of the Eagles for six seasons.
He qualified this statement with, “I know you’re going to say I’m biased, but let’s think about it for a second.”
One of McCoy’s primary reasons for his pick is Sirianni’s willingness to stick with Hurts as his quarterback.
Hurts, similar to many young quarterbacks, struggled in his first few seasons.
This led many around the league to question his abilities as a long-term starter in the league.
However, he quickly silenced his doubters in 2022, putting up an MVP-caliber performance.
He led the Eagles to the Super Bowl, with much thanks going to Sirianni and his faith in Hurts throughout his career.
The team rewarded Hurts’ play with a massive contract, tying him to the organization for the foreseeable future.
Will the Eagles find similar success in 2023, making their way back to the Super Bowl?
McCoy seems to believe they will, as he’s confident in this coach-QB duo.
As he illustrates, the Eagles are the betting favorites to win the NFC, and might win the Super Bowl as well.
