To say that the Denver Broncos offense looked terrible last season would be a massive understatement.
Russell Wilson was supposed to get them over the hump and back to their winning ways, but he had the worst seasons of his career, looking like a shell of himself and making bad throws and questionable decisions.
And while a lot of that had to do with the Nathaniel Hackett regime, he was also to blame for some of his team’s shortcomings.
That’s why he’s taking a different approach in his preparation for the upcoming season, dropping as many as fifteen pounds in the offseason.
Kay Adams of Fan Duel TV’s Up & Adams Show recently asked him about that change, and he credited intermittent fasting for losing all that weight.
My first question to Russell Wilson had to be about losing FIFTEEN pounds.

Wilson claims that he wants to be as lean as possible so he can be quick out there, and that makes perfect sense for a player like him.
He’s been at his best when he’s been on the move, scrambling or extending plays with his feet, and that elusiveness is one of the things that made him one of the best quarterbacks in the game during his prime.
Broncos fans want to believe last season’s debacle was a fluke and not something to be worried about going forward, especially considering how much money the team invested in him.
Even so, there’s simply no way they can do any worse than they did last year, especially with HC Sean Payton calling the shots now.
