The Denver Broncos are trying to make last season part of the distant past.
They entered with high expectations after acquiring Russell Wilson but proceeded to fall flat on their face.
Not only did Wilson play poorly but the whole team seemed to lack structure.
In large part, that was why Nathaniel Hackett was fired before even finishing his first year.
Yet, as we enter year two with Wilson in Denver, he seems confident he can return to being an elite player.
Sean Payton is now the Broncos’ head coach and he should be able to get the best out of Wilson.
Despite having a rough season last year, Wilson has not lost any confidence in himself.
He joined Kay Adams on “Up & Adams” to discuss how his confidence has never “wavered.”

Having self-confidence is the most important thing for any athlete.
Especially for a quarterback in the NFL.
Wilson looks as confident as ever and having an established Super Bowl-winning head coach must help.
This is a huge season for everyone in Denver.
Making the playoffs is a must, and Wilson must be the one to lead them there.
He was too great of a player in Seattle to just fall off a cliff since joining the Broncos.
Denver has the tough task of navigating through the AFC to reach their goal.
Having to play the Kansas City Chiefs twice, along with the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders, will be tough.
But if Payton can fix the offense and Wilson can return to All-Pro form there is no reason to believe this team cannot be elite.
