Some people fear that Lonzo Ball may have played his last game with the Chicago Bulls.
If his injury situation doesn’t improve soon, he might not be able to play with them or perhaps any other team.
But even if Ball never wears a Bulls jersey again, he will still hold a very important place in team history.
According to BullsMuse, the only Chicago Bulls players to average 10+ points, 5+ rebounds, 5+ assists, and 1+ steal are Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Ball.

That is a great company to be a part of.
Jordan and Pippen are, of course, the two most popular and beloved Bulls players of all time.
The fact that Ball is even in the same ballpark as them is a major honor.
Of course, Ball has had a far smaller sample size than both Jordan and Pippen.
He has only played in 35 games for the team before an injury brought him down.
But during that time, he has put up 13 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.8 steals.
That is proof that Ball was really finding his rhythm and was becoming an important part of the team.
Sure enough, when Ball went down, the fate of the Bulls became cloudy and they are in the midst of a very rough patch.
Ball was supposed to be out for only a few months but he didn’t play at all during the 2022-23 season.
He is also not likely to play a game during 2023-24 either.
Hopefully, Ball can come back at some point.
With more games under his belt, the chances of him keeping this average diminish but he’d definitely be willing to let that go if he got to play again.
