Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors had to have known he was starting a controversy when he said he was the best point guard ever the other day.
NBA fans love debating things, especially when it comes to who is the best in a particular position.
This has certainly created a major debate among fans all over.
To his credit, Curry said that both he and Magic Johnson should be in the conversation for best PG ever.
Chris Broussard was on his Fox Sports Radio show and didn’t agree that Curry is better than Johnson.
But he did say there was one thing that could bring Curry closer to Johnson: another championship ring.
“If Steph somehow won another ring, you’d have a closer argument,” Broussard said.
@TheProducerRG: “Steph is an all-time great, but the gap between Magic Johnson and Steph Curry, just based on resumes, is so slanted in Magic’s direction.”

Broussard mentioned that the conversation around who is the best point guard ever all comes down to what sort of guard one prefers.
If a fan is looking for a point guard who passes well and facilitates plays then Johnson might be the top pick.
But if that fan is looking for someone who is showy and skillful from all over the court, more entertaining, and a better shooter, then Curry will be the best.
Although not everyone will agree on who the best of the best is, Curry and Johnson will always be in any discussion about the greatest point guards ever.
Does their greatness only come from the number of Finals they have won?
Or is it derived from the impact they have had on the game and the number of points they have scored?
The debate will continue to rage on.
