The Baltimore Ravens knew they needed to get faster on offense this offseason.
That reason is why they signed wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
But, that was not the only major move they made on offense.
The Ravens also addressed the wide receiver need in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Baltimore selected wide receiver Zay Flowers with their first pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
He is already showing how special of a player he can be in the preseason.
On Monday night, Flowers caught two passes for 37 yards and one touchdown.
Coming into the draft, Flowers was seen as one of the most explosive receivers in the class.
Veteran quarterback Josh Johnson has been very impressed by Flowers.
According to the Ravens on Twitter, Johnson said, “Zay is different, man.”

Flowers has been getting plenty of hype throughout training camp.
He showed why on Monday.
It will be a lot of fun to watch the Ravens play this year.
Star quarterback Lamar Jackson will be back under center after missing five games last year.
The aforementioned improvements to the offense should make them one of the best teams in the AFC.
It seems likely the AFC North will come down to the Cincinnati Bengals and Ravens.
Both teams should be in the playoffs and have a shot at winning the conference.
The Ravens have been ravaged by injuries in recent years.
Yet, they seem to have all the pieces in place this year to return to Super Bowl contention.
