The AFC North division will be as competitive as ever during the 2023 NFL season, with every team in the division shooting for a deep run in the NFL playoffs.
The Cincinnati Bengals are expected to be the team to come out on top in the division as long as superstar quarterback Joe Burrow is healthy and productive, while the Baltimore Ravens may pose the biggest threat to them with Lamar Jackson back in the fold.
The Cleveland Browns are also expected to be a force to be reckoned with, as Deshaun Watson will have more time to work his way back to form while leading a team that’s talented on both sides of the football.
As for the Pittsburgh Steelers, it’s unclear what to expect, with the team rebuilding in the post-Ben Roethlisberger era and a second-year quarterback leading the way in Kenny Pickett.
Colin Cowherd believes that the Steelers will go as far as Pickett takes them, via “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.”
What is the Steelers key to Super Bowl contention?

Although Cowherd believes Pickett is a talented quarterback with a potentially bright future ahead, he doesn’t seem too confident in the young player’s ability to lead them to a Super Bowl title.
It’s a little too early to know what the Steelers have with Pickett as he’s entering his second season in the league and first full season as the starter under center for Pittsburgh.
Even though no one is calling Pickett an elite quarterback, nor has he blown anyone away with his potential, it’ll be interesting to see what he can do during his sophomore season.
