The Baltimore Ravens have had quite an NFL offseason filled with some drastic highs and lows, as the team was able to avoid disaster by re-signing Lamar Jackson while also adding a lot of talented players on both sides of the football.

The most recent notable addition to the roster was veteran defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who took his time in NFL free agency to figure out where he wanted to play next.

Fortunately for the Ravens, Clowney chose to land in Baltimore, which should make the team that much better on the defensive side of the football during the 2023 NFL season.

Clowney recently spoke to the media about his decision to sign with the team and seemed glad that he could call Jackson a teammate rather than chasing him all over the football field, via the NFL’s Twitter account.

Clowney has plenty of experience trying to contain Jackson, as he played for the Cleveland Browns the last two seasons, where he recorded 11 sacks.

Not only is Clowney relieved he doesn’t have to chase after arguably the most elusive quarterback in the NFL today, but Jackson is likely happy he doesn’t have to see the veteran defensive end coming after him for two games every season.

With the Ravens doing an impressive job of putting together a stacked roster during the offseason, the only question now is whether they can put it all together on the football field and compete with the best of the best in the AFC, which is as talented as ever.
