Right now, Giannis Antetokounmpo is the most important player for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The team has a lot of promise and is considered a Finals contender before the new season.

But if things change and Antetokounmpo decides he wants to move on, where will he go?

Craig Carton has an idea.

On his show, Carton passionately envisioned a scenario where Antetokounmpo packs his bags and heads to New York City.

“I want him out [of Milwaukee] and I want him on 33rd and 7th in New York City rocking the orange and blue for the New York Knicks,” Carton said.

Giannis won’t commit to signing extension: “If I don’t feel commitment, I’m not signing”

All of this stems from a comment that Antetokounmpo made about signing an extension with the Bucks.

He said, “If I don’t feel [commitment], I’m not signing.”

People immediately jumped on that statement, saying it meant that there was a possibility of Antetokounmpo leaving the Bucks.

Right away, fans of the Knicks were certain they’d have a chance to sign the former MVP.

Just days ago, those same fans were also intrigued by the idea of perhaps stealing Joel Embiid away from the Philadelphia 76ers if he grows tired of that team.

It’s clear that Knicks followers believe they have what it takes to land another superstar in the next few years, whether it be Embiid, Antetokounmpo, or someone else.

That’s because they finally have a strong roster, led by Jalen Brunson and other capable role players.

They also have some spending cash, which means they could offer an A-lister a good payday.

Plus, there is the allure of playing in New York, especially at the historic Madison Square Garden.

They have the pieces needed to land a big name, now the Knicks just need to wait for one to become available and show interest.
