Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic is determined to help Team Slovenia win big in the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
The team began their run at the World Cup with a bang, thanks to Doncic.
Doncic posted 37 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists in the team’s major 100-85 win over Venezuela.

Throughout the game, Doncic made his presence known with his scoring, assists, and playmaking.
If he is going to be playing like this for the rest of the World Cup, the Slovenian national team really does have a chance.

There is no doubt that few players are as talented as Doncic.
In 2022-23 alone, he averaged 32.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 8 assists for the Mavericks.
His name has been in the conversation for NBA MVP before, although he has yet to win that trophy.
A proud Slovenian, Doncic has a lot riding on his performance during the World Cup.
There are other strong players on his team, although he is undoubtedly the best one.
With him leading the way, there are more than a few analysts who predict the team could go far, perhaps even all the way to the finals.
Doncic will have to play consistently throughout the tournament if he wishes to see his team reach the top.
He’s off to a great start, but can he keep it up over the next couple of weeks?
