Not one single high school athlete has ever been hyped as much as LeBron James was, being compared to NBA players long before he entered the league.

James was deemed ‘The Chosen One’ at a young age, and now that we know how his career turned out, it’s safe to say that the prophecy was right on point.

Recently, the Los Angeles Lakers star took to Twitter to remind everyone just how good he was during his days with St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, sharing a clip of one of his most iconic games.

ESPN aired James’ games in high school, and he played in front of sold-out arenas, with all the frenzy and people talking about him.

The fact that James has been able to live up to the unrealistic expectations that were set on him when he first entered the league, has stayed with his high school sweetheart, and has avoided any sort of off-court controversy just speaks volumes of his work ethic.

James is entering his 21st season in the Association and he’s still as relevant and durable as the very first day he set foot on the court.

And even though some may not think of him as the greatest player in the history of this beautiful game, James is perhaps the most accomplished player to ever lace them up, and chances are that’s never going to change.
