The Philadelphia Eagles have one of the top rosters in all of football.

Because of that, not all their players are going to be happy with their role.

They have so much depth in some spots that not every player can get on the field.

One player the Eagles may be ready to move on from is edge rusher Derek Barnett.

According to Jeremy Fowler, Barnett and his agent are gauging the league for trade interest.

If a deal is going to happen, it seems likely he will be moved by the start of the regular season.

Barnett was a first-round pick in the 2017 draft but has struggled to produce throughout his career.

In six seasons, Barnett has 21.5 sacks.

Yet, he is still only 27 years old and has some good years left ahead of him.

The Eagles have shown a proclivity for making trades in previous seasons.

GM Howie Roseman is always looking to improve his team and get good players at a discount.

Now he might have to try and maximize the value of Barnett in a trade.

The Eagles are once again the favorite to win the NFC this season.

With the roster they have, anything short of another Super Bowl appearance would be considered a failure.

The NFC is the weaker of the two conferences.

Meaning it is much easier to make it out of the NFC in back-to-back years than the AFC.

But the Eagles will not sneak up on anyone this season.

They have a target on their back and everyone will be coming for them.
