The New York Jets have added significant pieces to their roster throughout the offseason.

After working diligently to improve their team, the Jets have remained confident that they are a playoff contender.

One of the major offensive pieces they added was Dalvin Cook, who looks to add instant impact to their offense.

Cook recently finished his first official practice with the team, saying in an interview, “I feel a part of the Jets now.”

The Jets fanbase has welcomed Cook with open arms, hoping he’s what the team needs to take a step in the right direction.

In his final season with the Minnesota Vikings, Cook amassed 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns.

He proved to have plenty of gas left in the tank last year and is slated to be a massive part of the newfound Jets offense.

Cook joins Breece Hall in the backfield, recovering from an ACL tear.

Assuming everything goes to plan, when Hall is fully healthy, he and Cook are slated to be one of the best one-two running back duos.

The pieces are in place for the Jets on both sides of the ball.

Can they capitalize on all of the talented pieces of their roster, resulting in their first playoff berth in over ten years?

That remains to be seen.

The Jets’ first four opponents are the Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, and Kansas City Chiefs.

They’ll be tested early, giving fans across the league an insider’s look into how this team might perform throughout the year.
