The NBA has become a league that is full of drama.

One of the biggest issues with the league is the players trying to control everything.

With all the player mobility in the league, many players try to get themselves out of certain situations for better ones.

That was the case with Brooklyn Nets forward Ben Simmons.

He sat out the entire 2021-22 season with the Philadelphia 76ers as a holdout to find a new team.

Simmons got his wish after being traded to the Nets.

But, in his first full season with the Nets, Simmons looked like a shell of his All-Star self.

He averaged 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.

Stephen A. Smith is fed up with hearing about Ben Simmons, and he does not expect anything from him this season.

According to “First Take” on Twitter, Smith said, “Enough’s enough… earn your money. Stop robbing franchises.”

Simmons has only played in 42 games the past two seasons.

Many people have even questioned if he wants to play basketball.

Well, this season Simmons will get the chance to prove a lot of people wrong.

Even though he has never developed the jump shot that many people hoped to see, there are plenty of other ways that Simmons can affect a game.

He is a great defensive player and distributor.

Also, when he is going well he can average around 15 points per game.

It will be interesting to see what Simmons shows up this year in Brooklyn.

But, the Nets need him to play if they hope to be competitive.
