If one were to poll NFL fans and ask them who the best quarterback in the NFC North is, the answer that would come up most often would be Jared Goff.

The Detroit Lions quarterback had one of the best seasons of his career in 2022, and his team is being picked by many to finish first in the division.

But Ryan Clark thinks differently; in fact, he thinks Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers could become the best signal-caller in the division, via “Get Up” on ESPN.

Right now, saying that Love will become the best QB in the NFC North is very premature.

In three NFL seasons, the 2020 first-round draft pick has played in a grand total of 10 games and has career totals of 606 passing yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions while backing up Aaron Rodgers.

But Rodgers has relocated to the New York City area, and therefore, the Love era has started in Green Bay.

So far, there is nothing to suggest that Love will become a good or great player, but there is also little to suggest that he will be a bust.

This will be the first time in some 30 years that the Packers will not have a big name under center, as they have been remarkably lucky to have either Rodgers or Brett Favre there during that entire span.

Even if Love turns out to be excellent right away, he will have a lack of offensive weapons at wide receiver, making his task of keeping the Packers competitive that much more difficult.
