The Los Angeles Lakers never hesitated to give up everything it took to land Anthony Davis.
Davis was one of the biggest names in the league, but he was never going to get far in the playoffs with the New Orleans Pelicans.
And even though some Lakers fans aren’t that sold on him right now, he continues to be one of the most talented players in the league.
That’s why one of his colleagues, namely Indiana Pacers star Myles Turner, took to Twitter to show his appreciation for Davis’ elite footwork.

Davis grew up playing point guard, so his handles and ball skills are higher than the average big man’s.
But the work he’s put on to develop his footwork has paid off big time, as he has shades of Hakeem Olajuwon when he’s on the post and at his best.
The only knock on Davis’ game has been his consistency — or lack thereof — as he can have 40 points with 15 rebounds and five blocks in one game and then score 11 on 3-for-12 from the floor the very next night.
Davis has struggled with his health throughout the course of his career as well, and those two factors have prevented him from becoming the undisputed alpha dog in Southern California.
But LeBron James isn’t getting any younger, and he’s going to need more help from Davis every single year that goes by.
He has the talent to take the reins and be their undisputed No. 1 guy, and this might be the season he finally does it.
