Analyst Notes Giants Fans’ ‘Biggest Nightmare’ This Season

The New York Jets stole all the headlines over the course of the NFL offseason, with the storied franchise addressing their pressing need to bring in a quarterback that could lead this team to a Super Bowl.

Last season, the Jets showed a lot of promise on both sides of the football, with two legitimate stars emerging in wide receiver Garrett Wilson and cornerback Sauce Gardner.

In order to get the most out of these two stars and take advantage of a potentially elite defense, the Jets traded for superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a massive deal with the Green Bay Packers.

Now the league has been put on notice that the Jets could very well be the real deal for the next few seasons with Rodgers leading the way, and Craig Carton of FOX Sports believes that terrifies New York Giants fans.

During the 2022 campaign, the Giants were arguably the surprise team in the league, with new head coach Brian Daboll helping turn the squad around while adopting a new culture geared toward winning.

The Giants went on to make the NFL playoffs and pull off one of the biggest upsets of the postseason by beating the Minnesota Vikings.

Unfortunately, the Giants were humbled by the Philadelphia Eagles in the next round, but the season was considered a success regardless, with the franchise headed in the right direction.

However, the Jets have seemingly taken over New York, which irks the Giants and their fans, especially if Rodgers and company turn out to be the real deal during the 2023 season.
