Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson has worked hard to return to form over the past few years.
Thompson unfortunately suffered back-to-back devastating lower body injuries that set him back multiple seasons, but the sharpshooter was able to return and help deliver another championship to the Warriors in 2022.
Although the 2022-23 season was a disappointment for Golden State, the team is poised to once again compete for a title in a loaded Western Conference Finals.
The Warriors will be bringing the core of their championship squads back, including Thompson who still remains one of the best shooters in the league.
Although his speed and athleticism have declined, his shooting gravity still will give opposing defenses problems as they’ll always have to account for where he is on the floor.
In order to prepare himself for the upcoming year, Thompson was seen working out with promising young Indiana Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin via Swish Cultures.

In the clip, Thompson and Mathurin are seen going at each other in one-on-one drills with each of them getting buckets over one another.
Thompson is able to hold his own against Mathurin, though the latter does well to use his natural scoring gifts to keep pace.
Following their head-to-head, Thompson and Mathurin then go into shooting drills from the 3-point line.
Indiana is high on the guard as he showed impressive flashes in his rookie season and figures to take a leap heading into his second year in the league.
Thompson and Mathurin will play key roles for their respective teams and it will be interesting to see how each fares.
