The Baltimore Ravens headed into the NFL offseason on the verge of disaster as all signs pointed to the team losing superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson due to the fact that the two sides couldn’t see eye-to-eye on a new deal.
Things got so ugly between Jackson and the Ravens that the superstar demanded to be traded, which obviously never came to fruition, but it seemed close at the time as the two sides seemed far apart on a new contract.
Fortunately for Baltimore, Jackson eventually signed on the dotted line, and the team could focus on putting more talent around their superstar.
Although disaster appeared inevitable this summer, the Ravens could be the best offense in the NFL coming into the 2023 campaign, with Jackson in a great position to win NFL MVP, which Stephen A. Smith of ESPN believes will happen, via “First Take” on Monday.

Jackson will have weapons at his disposal all over the football field during the upcoming season, as Baltimore is stacked at wide receiver, tight end, and running back, as long as players at these positions can stay healthy.
The signing of superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. made all the headlines when it happened, but the team will also get J.K. Dobbins back in the backfield, along with rookie receiver Zay Flowers having a chance to make some noise.
Along with those three players, the Ravens have arguably one of the best tight ends in the game with Mark Andrews, who could be in for a career year, with opposing defenses likely not knowing how to contain this team in 2023.
