All the talk in the NFC seems to be centered around the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, and the defending conference champion Philadelphia Eagles.
But PFF analyst Brad Spielberger says that people should look out for another team that some aren’t talking about much.
According to him, the Seattle Seahawks “are a legitimate contender to come out of the NFC.”

A year ago at this time, most people were sleeping on the Seahawks after they had traded franchise quarterback Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos, even though they insisted they weren’t rebuilding.
They eventually gave the starting QB spot to Geno Smith, who to that point in his career hadn’t been much more than a solid backup.
But Smith had an excellent year, leading the NFL in completion percentage while throwing for 4,282 yards and 30 touchdowns, which earned him the Comeback Player of the Year award.
Thanks to his play, Seattle won six of their first nine games and ended up with a 9-8 record and a playoff berth.
For this season, they still have a solid wide receiver duo in DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, as well as running back Kenneth Walker III, who had a strong rookie season in 2022.
On defense, star linebacker Bobby Wagner is back after he spent last year with the Los Angeles Rams.
The Seahawks will have their work cut out for them, as they don’t have the firepower the 49ers, Cowboys, and Eagles possess, but another playoff spot seems to be likely for them this winter.
