The New York Giants took a big leap under coach Brian Daboll.
He had pretty much the same roster from the Joe Judge regime, but the outcome was fairly different.
Notably, a lot of that had to do with Daniel Jones’ improvement, as he had the best season of his career and showcased true dual-threat potential.
Still, it seems like the Giants may have rushed to sign him to a big deal, and some people question if he’ll be able to live up to that contract he got.
That’s not the case with former WR Greg Jennings, who recently predicted another leap by Jones in the upcoming campaign in his latest appearance on “The Carton Show” this week.
“You’re gonna have to throw the ball now buddy, and we believe that you can throw the ball. We’re gonna see a completely different Daniel Jones.”

Per Jennings, Jones will be the eighth-best QB in the league, even ahead of former No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence.
He also predicts the Giants will look to throw more often next season with all the new additions they made, which is clearly proof that they have faith in his ability to make those throws and be a pass-first kind of team.
Of course, it’s also worth noting that a lot of the Giants’ offensive success had to do with having Saquon Barkley healthy and constantly on the field.
But with Barkley’s contract dispute in the offseason and all the uncertainty about his future, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Daboll try and rely more on his franchise quarterback, especially considering all the money they spent to keep him in the Big Apple for years to come.
