Miami Heat star Kevin Love doesn’t get the credit he deserves, but he’s had a borderline Hall-of-Fame career.
The former No. 5 pick is a five-time All-Star, NBA champion, rebounding champion, All-Rookie, Most Improved Player, and two-time All-NBA player.
He’s got career averages of 16.9 points and 10.4 rebounds, all while shooting 37% from beyond the arc as a power forward/center.
His numbers would’ve been even more impressive if he hadn’t agreed to take a lesser role with the Cleveland Cavaliers, as he was used to posting 20-point/20-rebound double-doubles when he played for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Fortunately, some fans do acknowledge his impact and great career, which is why they took to Twitter to wish him a happy 35th birthday.
Thank you so much Kevin! – Lebron

The Cavs gave away Love for nothing midseason, and they could’ve used his veteran leadership and presence in the playoffs, as their youth and lack of experience was pretty evident in that series vs. the New York Knicks.
He wasn’t much of a factor in the Heat’s trip to the NBA Finals, but he still proved that he was capable of giving any contending team solid minutes off the bench.
Shooting big men who can spread the floor are common nowadays, but they were not so much when Love first took the league by storm.
And while injuries and his trade to the Cavs may have prevented him from achieving legend status, he still had a better career than most players, and should get way more credit and praise than he does.
