Houston Rockets guard Dillon Brooks is one of the most unpopular figures in professional sports right now.

His antics and trash-talking have rubbed some players the wrong way, and it doesn’t seem like most of his colleagues have that much respect for him.

That was evident again recently when Miami Heat rookie Nikola Jovic mocked him and his boxing celebration as he headed to the locker room (via NBA Central).

Jovic and Serbia got the best of Brooks’ Canada team in the semifinals and will now play whoever wins between Germany and Team USA for a chance at the gold medal.

The former Memphis Grizzlies player recently stated that he’s the best perimeter defender in the entire world, which obviously prompted plenty of mockery on social media, even among his colleagues.

The Grizzlies let him know that they didn’t intend to bring him back under any circumstances, but he was able to strike a very lucrative deal with the Rockets.

Brooks did a lot of talking in the playoffs, then refused to talk to the media when he was dominated by LeBron James, failing to live up to that villain persona he had created.

Now, even second-year players are going at him.
