Week 2 can’t come soon enough for the New York Giants.
They were — by far — the worst team in the league on Sunday, and while a lot of that had to do with some tough luck, they failed to make adjustments every time they had an opportunity to do so.
Daniel Jones didn’t look like the kind of player who should get as much money as he got in the offseason, and they can’t seem to beat the Dallas Cowboys.

However, as terrible as his performance was, Craig Carton and Willie Colon believe he doesn’t have any weapons, and he also needs some blockers to be able to get some time to operate.
We already know that no team is as good or as bad as it looked during Week 1, but this was worrisome.
They failed to take care of the football, their offensive line was not good, and Jones looked very bad every time the Cowboys blitzed.
Of course, it’s also worth noting that they had to face one of the best defensive units in the league right out of the gate, but we’re talking about a team they’ll have to face at least twice this season.
Jones is getting paid a lot of money to be this team’s leader, and there’s simply no more room for excuses at this point.
As for the Cowboys, it’s been just one game, but this defense has the opportunity to be historically dominant.
