Giannis Antetokounmpo put the Milwaukee Bucks on notice with his comments about not signing a contract extension with the team.
Now, he’s looking to put the whole world on notice by taking his game to a whole new level next season.
That’s why he announced on the 48 Minutes podcast that he’s going to train with legendary big man Hakeem Olajuwon in Houston (via NBA Buzz).
Giannis Antetokounmpo has announced he’s traveling to Houston to train with Hakeem Olajuwon
Hakeem has trained NBA legends in the past like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, & Dwight Howard, & most recently, up-&-coming Houston center Alperen Sengun.

Notably, Olajuwon has worked out with several legends of the game in the past, including Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, and LeBron James.
He set the blueprint for what NBA footwork should look like, and he could help Giannis unlock a whole new facet of his game.
While undeniably dominant and physically imposing, critics have often called out Giannis for his apparent lack of basketball moves.
Developing his footwork could help him be even more dominant in the post, and he wouldn’t have to rely so much on his explosiveness, speed, or strength or go at full steam to the rim as he usually does.
Olajuwon is considered to be one of the most dominant and perhaps the most talented big man this game has ever seen.
Giannis is obviously an athletic freak whose physical traits give him a huge edge over almost every single player on Earth, but even the biggest Bucks fan can agree that some aspects of his game and fundamentals are rather raw.
The league could be in a lot of trouble if he polishes his game and takes it to a whole new level.
