The Miami Dolphins are expected to be a force to be reckoned with during the 2023 NFL season, and they proved that will be the case with a stellar performance against the Los Angeles Chargers on the road in Week 1.
After a slugfest with Justin Herbert and company at SoFi Stadium, the Dolphins were able to prevail, with star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa having one of his best performances on the NFL level.
Tagovailoa and superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill seemed like an unstoppable duo on Sunday, with the quarterback throwing for 466 yards and three touchdowns and Hill coming away with 215 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Although Tagovailoa threw an interception, his performance was impressive, to say the least, and that prompted him to give this answer in a Dolphins press conference when asked if he cares about anyone doubting his ability to throw the deep ball, via Yahoo Sports.

It seems clear at this point that Tagovailoa is tired of his constant critics and has gotten to the point where he doesn’t care what anyone says anymore, which was abundantly clear with how well he played against the Chargers.
Although Tagovailoa getting injured will always be a concern for the quarterback moving forward, he seems to be taking the right approach moving forward because he’s letting his game do the talking.
In Week 2, Tagovailoa and company will continue their road trip as they’ll face another tough opponent in the division rival New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium, where Miami can gain some ground in the AFC East with a win.
