The season opener for the New York Jets was brutal, to say the least, with every amped fan of the storied franchise in attendance at MetLife Stadium witnessing superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers go down on the team’s first series.
Although it initially looked like an ankle injury that Rodgers could come back from, it was the worst possible scenario for the Jets as it was later discovered that he had torn his Achilles and, as a result, would miss the rest of the season.
Along with being out for the rest of the year while dealing with an injury that ends most careers, some have wondered whether this injury will be the last we’ve seen of Rodgers in the NFL.
Although it has only been a couple of days since he suffered the injury, Rodgers has already shifted his focus to bouncing back from the injury and continuing his career with the Jets, as he took to Instagram with the following message, via Yahoo Sports.

Even though there’s no telling whether Rodgers will be able to fully recover from this injury and return to his MVP-caliber form, the veteran quarterback seems to have the right mindset, as he wasted no time in telling the world that he intends to continue playing.
Most players approaching 40 and suffering an Achilles injury would take it as a sign to call it a career, but the one-time Super Bowl champion is taking it another way as he sees it as a chance to be reborn in 2024.
