The Atlanta Braves have been one of the best teams in baseball for a while.

But, just how far back does their success go?

You can look back to 1991.

That was when the Braves started their dominant run of division titles.

According to MLB Stats, the Braves have won 21 division titles since 1991, which is the most in MLB during that span.

Teams with the most division titles since 1991:

Braves: 21
Yankees: 15
Dodgers: 13

One reason for their continued success is that they continue to reload their roster.

Each season the Braves find ways to get better.

Also, they have done a fantastic job of developing young players.

Looking at the Braves roster, it is a great mix of drafted players and players acquired via trade.

Ronald Acuna Jr., Ozzie Albies, and Austin Riley are all homegrown players.

While Matt Olson, Sean Murphy, and Marcell Ozuna are players they acquired via trade.

It seems like every player they acquire ends up having a career year in Atlanta.

Olson has hit 51 home runs and driven in 128.

Having a bunch of elite players around him has to play a role in his success.

Atlanta has shown there is no perfect way to build a roster.

But, it is the players you build around that matter.

Atlanta has won the NL East for the sixth consecutive season this year.

This team is not going anywhere anytime soon.

They are substantial favorites to win the National League and make the World Series.

Anything short of that would be a failure in Atlanta.
