The New York Liberty were able to defeat the Washington Mystics on Friday night and a group of Brooklyn Nets stars were there to root them on.

The Liberty beat the Washington Mystics, 90-75, in Game 1 of the WNBA playoffs.

The arena was jam-packed with fans, including quite a few people very familiar to New York sports fans.

The Nets shared images online, via Ball Don’t Lie, of Royce O’Neale, Spencer Dinwiddie, Lonnie Walker, and Dennis Smith Jr. all sitting courtside during the game.

For his part, Bridges was even wearing a Liberty jersey to show his true fan credentials.

It’s not at all shocking to see a few players from the Nets cheering for the Liberty.

They are all part of the same New York sports scene, which has been growing a lot over the last few years.

While many people have paid attention to the rise of the New York Knicks, there is no doubt that the Brooklyn Nets have become a promising team, as well as the New York Liberty.

For a while, the Nets were actually even more popular than the Knicks in some ways, receiving tons of focus from the press and fans because they had Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden.

All three of those players are gone now.

Therefore, the team is now in the hands of guys like O’Neal, Dinwiddie, Walker, and Bridges.

They might not be the playoff contenders they were, at least not yet, but they are trying to build something special.

The Nets are seeking inspiration from the Liberty and hoping that next season they will also be in the playoffs.
