The Los Angeles Clippers are seemingly one of the best teams in the NBA at the beginning of each season.

They have a star duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George leading the way.

But every season those two struggle with injuries that end up derailing the Clippers’ season.

It is impossible to win an NBA title when your two best players are not on the floor.

But one analyst thinks this could be the year the Clippers finally stay healthy.

According to ClutchPoints, Chiney Ogwumike said, “There is optimism about how Leonard and George look in their workouts.”

“There is optimism around how [Kawhi Leonard and PG-13] look in their workouts… And also, I hear a lot of great energy from Paul George… it just feels like there’s this quiet confidence that he has of going into this season.”

How they look before the season has never been the issue.

But the two of them have never been able to hold up over an 82-game regular season and playoffs.

The Clippers will not be able to rest these two as much with the recent NBA rule change.

The rule implemented is that teams cannot rest more than one “star” player on any given night.

Both Leonard and George qualify as “star” players.

It will be interesting to see if the Clippers stars can hold up next season.

NBA fans have been deprived of a fully healthy season from the Clippers.

In a loaded Western Conference, this team could be one worth watching.
