Michael Jordan is such a huge NBA icon that no matter what he does or where he goes, he receives a ton of attention.
That was evident over the weekend when he showed up at the Bristol Motor Speedway to enjoy the show and meet with racers and celebrities.
He was greeted with fond adoration from the fans, as seen in a video from NASCAR on NBC.

Jordan was spotted before the race, which was quite a sight to see for racing fans who didn’t expect to come face-to-face with perhaps the greatest basketball player of all time.
However, Jordan is a major racing fan and has been for years.
In fact, he is actually the owner of 23XI Racing, alongside Denny Hamlin.
Therefore, spotting Jordan at such a big racing event isn’t that surprising at all.
Since retiring from the NBA, Jordan has put a lot of focus on being a businessman and investing.
But one of his most important business ventures just underwent a massive change.
Jordan sold his stake in the Charlotte Hornets just last month, putting an end to his 13 years as majority owner.
However, it is important to note that Jordan is still a minority owner of the team and will still be a part of it, just a much more minimal one.
Jordan’s name is synonymous with excellence, no matter the sport.
Whether he’s at a basketball game, baseball game, or racing event, people are going to pay close attention to him.
No matter the sport, Jordan is still considered royalty.
