At halftime on Sunday, the New York Giants were down, 20-0, to the hapless Arizona Cardinals, and it looked like they were on their way to a truly embarrassing loss.
The Cardinals are a team that many have felt have nothing to play for this season other than trying to win the Caleb Williams sweepstakes, and a loss to them would have left the Giants looking awful.
But New York dominated the second half and ended up securing an inspiring 31-28 comeback victory in Glendale.
Quarterback Daniel Jones led the comeback, and team legend Eli Manning took to Twitter to express the confidence he apparently had that New York would emerge victorious.

Jones had a stellar overall performance, completing 26 of 37 passes and throwing for a total of 321 yards and two touchdown passes while adding 49 yards and an additional touchdown on the ground.
Helping out was rookie wide receiver Jalin Hyatt, who had 89 yards on just two catches after failing to register a single reception in Week 1.
Meanwhile, tight end Darren Waller contributed 76 yards while star running back Saquon Barkley had 63 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately, the victory was dampened by the fact that Barkley suffered an ankle injury late in the game, and he is expected to miss the next three weeks as a result.
The Giants are now 1-1, which at least keeps them within striking distance of the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, both of whom are 2-0.
The Cowboys embarrassed New York in Week 1, 40-0, at MetLife Stadium and look to have a legitimate shot at reaching the Super Bowl.
