The Charlotte Hornets have a knack for attracting some of the most controversial players in the NBA.
Kai Jones has added himself to the list following his recent antics on social media.
Jones has openly claimed that he could defeat LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal in one-on-one games.
On top of that, he was recently seen dancing to Michael Jackson’s iconic song ‘Billie Jean’ in an Instagram live video.
Keeping that in mind, the Charlotte Hornets head coach, Steve Clifford, has released a statement about his player’s recent antics via NBACentral on Twitter.
The Charlotte Hornets are ‘aware’ of Kai Jones’ social media posts and will handle the situation internally, per Steve Clifford pic.twitter.com/I73CrDxuAv

Clifford says the Hornets are aware of Jones’ actions across social media.
The Hornets will apparently deal with the situation internally.
To be honest, it seems that Clifford and the Hornets are only trying to contain the fire spread by Jones’ actions on social media.
With that being said, Jones most likely won’t be punished either.
After all, he’s only enjoying his life via social media while sharing his personal opinions about NBA legends.
Speaking of Jones’ career, he has averaged 3.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per game in the 2022-23 season.
Considering he was the No. 19 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, Jones can certainly get better.
If he can achieve that, he may actually become a solid role player for the Hornets and aid the duo of LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller to one day lead the franchise to an NBA Championship.
