The Phoenix Suns‘ title window is wide open, but it could close as fast as it opened.
Kevin Durant has just turned 35 years old, and while he’s not the only superstar on his team, he’s the best player they have right now, even better than Devin Booker.
With that in mind, the fans took to Twitter to wish him a happy birthday, knowing that he might not have that many years left in the game.

Durant’s game is ageless.
He’s smooth, perhaps the smoothest and most gifted natural scorer we’ve ever seen.
He’s the ultimate plug-and-play kind of player who could fit into every system, even if the offense doesn’t revolve around him.
Unfortunately, injuries have kept him from being at his best since he left the Golden State Warriors, but even if he misses time, he comes back as dominant and efficient as per usual as soon as he sets foot back on the court; the game just comes naturally to him.
His legacy has taken some big hits throughout the course of his career, at least to some degree.
But even if one may or may not agree with his career decisions or even the way he deals with criticism and the fans, his game has always been beautiful to watch.
No one can take anything away from Durant, and he earned those two NBA championships and Final MVP awards fair and square.
Maybe it’s time his critics start appreciating him before it’s too late, as he won’t be on the court for much longer.
