Is Jrue Holiday about to make a triumphant return to the Philadelphia 76ers?
Ever since the blockbuster trade that sent Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks, everyone has been wondering what’s next for Holiday.
He is currently with the Portland Trail Blazers but all reports indicate that the team is looking to move him to another team as soon as possible.
According to Shams Charania, via NBA Retweet, the 76ers are “aggressively trying to trade” for Holiday.

He got his start in Philadelphia back in 2009.
He was there for four seasons, averaged 13.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists, and even earned an All-Star appearance during his time there.
Since then, Holiday has only gotten better during his seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans and then the Bucks.
The Sixers definitely want someone with Holiday’s offensive talent as well as his defensive power.
He could be a great fit on the team – and was before.
The need for Holiday got bigger when Lillard made his way to the Bucks.
The Sixers are desperate to have a very strong season, especially because they aren’t sure of Joel Embiid’s future plans.
If they have a bad season and fall short of postseason greatness, Embiid could leave the 76ers.
The Bucks were already a huge opponent in the East for Philadelphia but the inclusion of Lillard makes them much more challenging.
Holiday could be a huge addition and could possibly help bring his former team down in the postseason.
But what would the Sixers give up to get Holiday?
Could they land Holiday and get rid of James Harden at the same time?
