The Philadelphia Phillies have clinched everything they need to when it comes to the playoff picture.
They are the first seed in the NL Wild Card standings and will host the NL Wild Card series.
Being able to get all three of those games at Citizens Bank Park is significant for the Phillies.
They play great at home and have an elite home-field advantage.
But before we get to the playoffs, Bryce Harper is hoping to finish off a great regular season.
Even though he missed the first month of the season, he has a chance at a great slash line.
According to Matt Gelb, Harper can still achieve a .300/.400/.500 slash line.
Bryce Harper could still finish .300/.400/.500. (The best slash line.) He’s now at .296/.402/.503.

All he needs to do is get his batting average up four points over the last three games.
That may not be easy to do, as Harper will most likely need a few multi-hit games.
Even though Harper is not in MVP contention this year, he has been great for the Phillies.
His play has helped them get to 89 wins and the top Wild Card spot.
Also, he has even done a good job playing first base.
The Phillies wanted to change his position to protect him from throwing too often after Tommy John surgery.
Harper has contributed to his team in many different ways.
Now they need him to have another stellar postseason run like he did last year.
The Phillies are good enough to get back to the Fall Classic.
But to do so they need Harper at his best.
